Now available for iPad – Two new editions for Crayola ColorStudio HD multi-activity drawing app that brings Mattel Brands Barbie® and Hot Wheels™ to life

Nashville, Tenn. — May 14, 2013 — Griffin Technology, one of the world’s foremost creators of innovations for everyday life, announces the availability of Crayola ColorStudio HD Barbie® and Hot Wheels™ app editions. These new apps for these favorite and iconic children’s brands blend creative coloring activity with mobile technology.

Crayola ColorStudio HD Barbie® Edition features fun and creative ways for girls to interact with Barbie® and her friends. The Hot Wheels™ Edition features thrilling Hot Wheels™ vehicles. These new apps keep young artists entertained for hours with animated coloring book pages that move and react while being colored.

Bring Barbie® and Hot Wheels™ to life on the iPad with five interactive books and 30 animated coloring pages. Children can color line art with animations, music and sound effects. Each app unlocks limitless play with coloring books that feature the Crayola color fan with 64 crayons, 24 colored pencils, 10 markers and an eraser. Artwork can be e-mailed, uploaded to Facebook and printed directly from iPad to any AirPrint-enabled printer.

Both apps are compatible with Crayola ColorStudio HD iMarker, an intelligent digital stylus that looks and feels like a Crayola marker, but interacts with the iPad in ways ordinary styluses can’t. Though not required, iMarker has the added benefit of palm rejection, a feature that prevents unwanted markings when a child's hand rests on the touchscreen while drawing.
